Description
Whitecrofts Farmhouse is a late 18th-century house constructed in red brick and timber-frame, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building stands two storeys high, with single-storey wings on either side. It features a three-window range, with double-hung vertical sliding sashes that have glazing bars, and the ground floor sashes consist of three lights each. A stucco band runs along the façade. The entrance is highlighted by an open pedimented doorcase, which includes panelled pilasters, dentils, and an urn at the center of the pediment. The reveals are panelled, and there is a brick eaves cornice along the top. The original red brick end chimney stacks are still intact. The wings are adorned with capped parapets, ball finials, and round-headed windows. The property includes a forecourt surrounded by walls and iron railings, and there is a long wing at the rear.
