Description

The Laurels is an early 19th-century house located on the south side of High Street in Maxey. It is constructed from coursed stone with ashlar dressings and features a Collyweston stone roof with coped gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are sashes with glazing bars. The central entrance has a round arched doorway, which is topped by a segmental fanlight with radial bars and leads to a fielded panel door. There are chimney stacks at both ends of the house.
