Description

Littlefield is a 17th-century house that has been significantly restored. It features a long range of coursed stone rubble positioned at right angles to the road, topped with a thatched roof that has gabled ends. The building is one storey high with an attic, and it includes two eyebrow dormers and a total of four windows. The windows are modern casements with glazing bars, and there is a modern porch. At the north end, the roof is slightly lower and includes a re-erected two-storey canted and gabled stone bay window that was originally from a house in Stamford, featuring ovolo moulded mullion windows. Additionally, there is a small Saxon arched window, likely sourced from a church. A modern wing has been added to the rear.
