Description

16 and 18 High Street is a building from 1913, designed in a traditional style that is somewhat unremarkable. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof topped with a square cupola. The building has two storeys, with each floor showcasing two lattice casement bay windows that have wooden mullions and transoms. There are two narrow end windows on the first floor, along with a central half-glazed door that leads to a balcony. The design includes a modillion roof cornice, a continuous frieze at ground level, and cornices supported by Doric end pilasters.
