Description

No. 38 on Brook Street is a 17th-century house featuring colourwashed roughcast render over a timber-framed structure. It has a steeply pitched thatched roof and is a two-storey block with a single-room plan, complemented by a single-storey lean-to on the north gable end. The east elevation includes a single-light casement window on the ground floor and a two-light casement window on the first floor. There is a plank door on the left side and another plank door leading to the lean-to addition. A mottled brick chimney stack is located on the south gable end, at the junction with the adjacent house.
