Description
The village pumphouse and clock tower, built in 1873, is a single-storey brick structure with a gable end. The sides feature cambered headed archways filled with iron railings. The tile roof covers the building, and one gable end has a plain door with a cambered arch. At the opposite end, a two-stage square brick turret rises above the roof, which includes a clock dial and is topped with a louvred belfry. The turret has a pyramid roof and a vane with cardinal points. Inside, there is iron pumping machinery. This building is a prominent feature of the village green.
