Description

Provident Place, located at 774 Oliver Street, was built in 1850 and exhibits a Georgian character. The building is constructed of red brick and covered with Welsh slates. It has two storeys and features wide eaves. Each of the nine properties has a sash window set in a reveal with glazing bars and flat arches. The doorways are elliptical with four flush panel doors and dummy fanlights above. Provident Place, along with Nos 1 to 17 (odd) and 23 to 29 (odd), forms a cohesive group.
