Description
Nos 1 and 3 Icknield Street, also known as Icknield Terrace, are early to mid 19th century buildings. They are constructed of plum-coloured brick with red brick flat arches and feature a Welsh slated roof with an eaves cornice. The buildings have basements and three storeys, with two windows on the top floor that have casements, while the lower floors have sash windows with glazing bars. The entrance doors are four-panel doors, with the two lower panels being flush, set in panelled reveals. The doors are flanked by slim Doric pilasters, and there are consoles and hoods with panelled soffits above panelled friezes. Nos 1 to 7 (odd) form a group.
