Description
No. 160 on Station Road in Langford End is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is a timber-framed structure covered with colourwashed render and features a thatched roof. The building has a three-room plan, is one storey high with attics, and has its gable end facing the road. It is believed to have originally been part of a longer range that was divided into three cottages.
On the west elevation, there are three three-light casement windows on the ground floor, all of which are from the 20th century. The attic includes one eyebrow dormer and one gabled dormer, both featuring similar casements. There is a 20th-century plank door aligned with a red brick double ridge stack, which serves a back-to-back hearth. Additionally, there is a colourwashed brick lean-to addition on the south gable end.
