Description

This is an 18th and 19th century building located on Shortmead Street. It is a two-story structure. The ground floor has rusticated woodwork designed to look like masonry blocks, featuring deep rectangular grooves. The upper floor is stuccoed. The roof is covered with old clay tiles and has gable coping; the eaves are dentil. The building has three sash windows. The central door has a simple surround and a flat hood supported by consoles. To the left is a one-story portion that was formerly a butcher's shop. This section has lattice shutters, a central door, and a corrugated iron roof.
