Description

The Mansion is a house dating to 1619, though it was restored and refaced in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with an old clay tile roof and stone gable coping. The building is arranged around an E-shaped plan and has ashlar quoins. The fenestration consists of two storeys of 1:2:1 casements, with drip moulds to the windows in the gable ends. A stone band separates the floors, and the ground floor mirrors the upper floor's window arrangement. A porch wing features a small arched first-floor window and a ground-floor arched doorway, also with a drip mould. A date of 1619 is visible on the central chimney stack.
