Description

No. 48 on High Street is an 18th-century house constructed of coursed limestone rubble, finished with lime and colorwash. The building stands two storeys tall, featuring a thatched roof on the main house, while a later extension on the right has a pantiled roof. The first floor includes three casement windows with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a three-light 19th-century casement window on the left, a central fixed window with very small panes, and a 20th-century window on the right. The entrance features a four-panel door with a ribbed surround and a decorated pediment.
