Description

The Old House is a 17th-century house located in Pershore. It is primarily timber-framed with rendered and painted brick nogging. The roof is covered in plain tiles, with brick stacks rising from the ridge and off the ridge. The house is arranged as a 2-bay range with a 1x2-bay cross-wing projecting to the right, and a further extension under a sloping roof on the left. Most windows are 3-light casements with 3:3:3 panes. The main range has a 20th-century porch on the right, and the ground-floor window to the centre left has 2-pane lights. Above this is a 2-light window. The cross-wing features a painted stone plinth, renewed timber framing to the gable end, and windows set within the framing. An attic window with 2 lights is located in the gable. The south, or rear, gable of the cross-wing is constructed of brick. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
