Description

Norton Park is a large ashlar mansion dated 1830, designed in a style reminiscent of the late 16th to early 17th century. The building stands three storeys high and features stone mullion transom windows with ovolo mouldings and dripmoulds. It has splayed bays and oriels, along with numerous gables, each topped with ball finials. The first and second floors are adorned with moulded string courses. The roof is made of stone, and there are diagonally opposed chimney groups that have moulded cornices. To the right, there is a two-storey wing that includes four gabled dormers.
