Description
The Church of St Peter, primarily dating from the 14th century, features a rebuilt stone chancel and a timber frame nave, which is the only example of its kind in Worcestershire. The church includes north and south porches, with the south porch being a 15th-century timber frame structure. Inside, there is an important rood screen from around 1500 and 15th-century panelling. The church also has Laudian altar rails, an original west window with wood tracery, a triptych from 1594, and an alabaster effigy of a youth from 1576. The Church of St Peter is part of a group that includes Church Farmhouse, the garden wall at Church Farmhouse, and the barn at Church Farmhouse.
