Description

The summerhouse at Spetchley Hall is a Victorian root-house with a circular plan. It features a conical thatched roof that is supported by tree roots, giving it a rustic quality. The back wall showcases elaborate rustic-work. A photograph and description of this structure were published in Country Life on August 23, 1956.
