Description

The Old Rectory Cottage, formerly known as Keepers Cottage, is a 17th-century house featuring a projecting wing at the back. It is constructed with a timber frame and has lath and plaster or brick infilling. The building has one storey and attics, with a gable and a gabled dormer. A gabled porch adds to its charm, and there are casement windows throughout. The cottage is picturesque, highlighted by an ancient door with moulded wooden jambs and shutters on the ground floor windows.
