Description

Wyre House is a mid-19th century building designed in the Gothick style and constructed of stucco. It is two storeys high and features two gabled wings with a central connecting bay, creating an H-shaped plan. The house has mullion windows adorned with Gothic tracery and dripmoulds. A verandah is positioned over the central door, and the building is topped with ornate pierced bargeboards and a tiled roof. Wyre House is part of a group that includes the Parish Church, Church Cottage, The Cottage, outbuildings adjoining The Cottage, and Avonbank Farmhouse.
