Description

Avonbank Farmhouse is a 17th-century building with a roughcast front and a revealed timber frame at the rear. It has an H-shaped plan with gabled cross wings. The 18th-century features include a moulded wooden doorcase with a hood and fluted pilasters. Inside, there are old oak beams and stairs, along with an 18th-century arched opening. The roof is tiled. Avonbank Farmhouse is part of a group that includes the Parish Church, Wyre House, Church Cottage, The Cottage, and the outbuildings adjoining The Cottage.
