Description

No. 82 Port Street is an 18th-century building constructed of stone faced in stucco. It has two storeys plus an attic and features six sash windows set within grouped beaded architraves and bull-nosed sills. The doorway has a hood supported by brackets and a modern door. A date-stone on the first storey indicates the year 1772. To the right side, there is a square-headed carriage entrance. The building also has a moulded stone eaves cornice, a stone chimney, and three gabled dormers, all covered with slates. It was unoccupied when inspected in 1976. No. 82 is part of a group that includes Nos. 82 to 86 (even) Lansdowne and the former stables of Lansdowne.
