Description

The Farmhouse in Upper Westmancote is a 17th-century stone house that has undergone later alterations. It is two storeys high with coped gable ends and a tiled roof. The narrow gable features a stone mullion window with a drip mould, and there is a slightly advanced gabled bay on the left. The building includes some stone mullion windows as well as wood mullion-transom casements. The Farmhouse, along with Tudor House, the cottages occupied by Mrs. Ralph and Mrs. Adams, Green Hayes, the Dovecote, and the stables at Green Hayes, forms a cohesive group.
