April Cottage is a 17th-century, timber-framed cottage with thatched roofing and whitened brick nogging. It is a one-storey building with an attic and features casement windows. The roof is half hipped. Formerly known as Nos 2 and 3 Church Lane, April Cottage is part of a group that includes Stonewell Piece, Joe's Farmhouse, Whiteoaks, and a barn adjoining Whiteoaks and Bank Cottage.
