Description

Whiteoaks is a 16th or 17th century timber-framed building featuring a thatched roof with eyebrow dormers, giving it a picturesque appearance. The structure has an L-shaped plan with a projecting gabled wing that is two stories high and has closely set studding. It includes casement windows and brick and plaster nogging. Whiteoaks is part of a group that includes April Cottage, Stonewell Piece, Joe's Farmhouse, the barn adjoining Whiteoaks, and Bank Cottage.
