Description

Moat Farmhouse is a 17th-century house built with a timber frame and plaster. It has two storeys and attics with gabled ends, one of which is dated 1663. The front features three gables and a modern gabled brick porch. It has traditional three- and four-light wood mullion windows, with tiled hoods that extend around the second floor and attic, supported by wood brackets. There is a central stack with moulded brick shafts. Inside, the farmhouse contains original panelling and a staircase. Moat Farmhouse is part of a group that includes the Dovecote at Moat Farm, Old Moat Barn, and Moat Cottage.
