Description

The Guild House is a building located on the High Street in Knowle, Solihull. It dates back to the 15th century, with a front added in 1912 that is designed in the style of the 15th century. The structure features a heavy timber frame with closely spaced vertical studs and an old roof covered with machine-made tiles. The building has casement windows and stands two storeys tall. The eight-sided elevation includes diagonal bracing. The Guild of St Anne, associated with this building, was founded in 1413. The Guild House is part of a group with Nos 1709 to 1715.
