Description
Stowe House, located at 1686 and 1688 Warwick Road in Knowle, Solihull, is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick with a hipped old tiled roof featuring a dentil brick cornice. The house stands three storeys high and has four nearly flush casement windows. The ground and first floors have cambered relieving arches, while the ground floor on the right has a wooden lintel. The entrance features a six-fielded panelled door with a modern Georgian-style surround, consisting of reeded pilasters that support an entablature. This building is included for its group value with Nos 1672 and 1678 to 1688, which form a cohesive architectural group.
