Description
The Wilsons Arms Public House is a 17th-century building that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with whitewashed brick nogging. The south front and ground floors of the side elevations have been rebuilt in whitewashed brick. The building has a gabled roof covered with a mix of old and machine tiles. It is two storeys high and includes casement windows, with two canted bay windows flanking the front door, which is adorned with an achievement of arms. There are two front gables that have 19th-century bargeboards, and on the west side, there are a pair of jettied gables supported by moulded beams on console brackets. The west and east sides display square timber framing. The Wilsons Arms Public House and its outbuilding form a group.
