Description
Dial House is a late 16th century building with an T-shaped main block, featuring additions from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed from timber frame and red brick, topped with a tiled roof. The house has two storeys and attics, measuring three bays in length. The central first floor overhangs and has a jettied gable head, with each side displaying a moulded beam on brackets and a restored oriel window flanked by four-light windows. To the west, there is a lower extension that includes an attic window and a jettied gable head supported by a moulded beam. At the back, there is a gabled wing from the 17th century. The chimney stack has a geometrical plan, and there is an 18th-century sundial present.
