Description

Eastcote Hall is a moated manor house dating to the 15th century, with later alterations. The original structure comprised a two-bay hall, incorporating a screens passage and an open timbered roof. It features a close-set and patterned timber frame, with whitewashed plaster infilling and some later red brick refacing. The house has 16th-century red brick chimney stacks, distinguished by moulded caps and bases to diagonally-set shafts. The roof is gabled and tiled, with casement windows, predominantly renewed. A nail-studded main door is original to the building. The interior is reputed to contain early 17th-century panelling in two rooms. Eastcote Hall is part of a group with the adjacent dovecote.
