Description
This granary and cartshed, located 40 yards southwest of Braggs Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century and has undergone some alterations. It features five red brick buttresses, which are shouldered at the top, along each side, with later bricked-up openings and dentilled cornices beneath a half-hipped tiled roof. Red brick steps lead to the north entrance, which has a gabled semi-dormer. The upper parts of the ends are vertically weatherboarded, with small single windows added. Inside, the building consists of five bays, with cranked principals that rest on the buttresses and rise from the upper floor to support queen post trusses.
