Description

The Light Hall is an 18th century house built of red brick with a tiled roof. It is three storeys high and has three sash windows. A central entrance features a four-panelled door and a fanlight with ornamental glazing bars, a design repeated above the inner door. The door is surrounded by reeded pilasters and a plain hood supported on consoles. A pair of mid-19th century bay windows are located on either side of the entrance. The building has cornice mouldings and is constructed of brick to the back and sides, with the front painted. Two brick chimneystacks with moulded caps are present.
