Description
The churchyard wall to the Church of St Laurence is a structure of various dates that has been repaired over time. It is primarily made of pink sandstone and features rounded stone coping. The wall has a prominent ramp that rises from the road as it ascends the link and turns the corner near No 6. At this point, the wall reaches approximately 9 feet in height. There is a flight of brick steps leading into the churchyard, located opposite the former Northfield Schools. Additionally, opposite the 'Great Stone' public house, the wall consists of upper courses made of brick, with sections that are about 7 feet and 4 feet in height.
