Description

Oakwood is a house, originally stables to the now-demolished large house, The Hurst. The building was designed by W S Lethaby. It has been substantially altered and enlarged for residential use. The house is constructed of colour-washed brick with a tiled roof, featuring a small central gable and a larger projecting gable on the left. It is a single-storey structure with attics, and has flush lattice casement windows with wooden mullions.
