Description

Probably dating to the 18th century and likely originally a single farmhouse, 423 and 425 Church Road are a pair of buildings. The front is pebbledashed, although red brick is visible on the sides and rear, with a tiled roof featuring a moulded eaves cornice. The building is one storey in height with an attic. The entrance to number 423 is of coach house type and is centrally positioned, flanked by single, almost square casement windows, all set beneath what appears to be a 19th-century openwork iron frieze. The entrance to number 425 has a simple central door with a modest gabled hood, again flanked by single casement windows. Two gabled dormer windows are visible in the roof.
