Description

Church Farm Cottage is a late 16th century timber-framed cottage with red brick infill panels. It features a plain tile roof with gabled ends and has a timber frame wing at the rear, dating from the early 17th century, which creates an L-shaped plan. The original cottage includes curved braces at the corners on the first floor. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with 18th and 19th century two-light casements that have leaded panes. There are brick ridge stacks over the rear wing. A modern timber frame porch is located on the gable end, along with a small modern timber-framed wing that is at right angles to the rear wing.
