Description
No. 50 on High Street is an early structure that was refronted in the early 18th century and refaced in the 19th century. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features a two-window stucco facade. The windows are sash style with plain reveals and a string band at the ground floor sill level. There is a six-flush-panel door with a rectangular fanlight and architrave located on the right-hand side. The roof is covered with old tiles and continues from the adjoining No. 52, which is the Bear and Baculus Public House. The building also has two gabled dormers. Nos. 30 to 52 (even) are part of a group.
