Description
The Kings Head Public House is a building dating from 1781, located on the southwest side of Saltisford. It features an early 19th-century, three-storey facade made of red brick with a symmetrical design and stone dressings. The ground floor has wide splayed bay windows, although some glazing bars have been removed on the right-hand side. An ornamental ironwork sign bracket, likely original, is present, along with old machine tiles and chamfered quoins. The windows are sashes with glazing bars and rusticated heads, and there is an ovolo eaves cornice. The central doorway is adorned with an archivolt, keystone, frieze, and consoles supporting the cornice.
