Description
The Stable Wall of The Priory, dating from 1781, is a significant structure that remains from a building that has otherwise been demolished. This wall is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and stands approximately 4 yards high on the forecourt side. It features blocked two-light windows with stone mullions and chamfered reveals. There is a central blocked four-centred archway, with a similar archway to the right of centre, both of which have blocked windows inserted. Additionally, there is a four-centred arched entrance at the far right. The Priory, the Stable Wall, and the Ruined Wall to the northeast form an important group.
