Description

The Former Chapel of Nunc Dimittis of St Mark was built by Compet and Bucknall between 1893 and 1894. It is constructed from red brick with stone dressings and features a tiled roof. The building includes a nave and a gabled west porch, with a belfry located at the northwest corner, positioned between the nave and the porch. The nave is buttressed and has vertically rectangular openings. The tower consists of three storeys, with the top storey being louvred and topped by a pyramidal roof that is adorned with a fine iron finial.
