Description
The Rectory is a building located in Little Packington, originally dating from the late 18th century but constructed as a rectory in the early 19th century. It is made of red brick and features a plain-tiled hipped roof with end stacks on the rear wing. The building has two storeys and a five-bay front elevation, which includes 12-pane recessed hung sashes. There is a doorway at the east end with 19th-century double doors that are half-glazed, and a wooden porch added in the late 20th century. Inside, there is an early to mid-19th-century staircase that has a curving rail, very slender vase-shaped balusters, and a spiral curtail. The interior also boasts two mid-19th-century marble chimney pieces.
