Description

The Bagnall memorial is a chest tomb located adjacent to the east end of the chancel of the Church of St Edward in Cheddleton. It commemorates John Bagnall, who died in 1816. The tomb features a moulded plinth and reeded pilasters at the corners, with capitals that have fleuron heads. There are elliptical inscribed panels on the sides of the tomb.
