Description

The Godwin Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 2 meters south of the Church of St Edward in Cheddleton. It commemorates Richard Godwin, who died in 1795. The tomb is made of stone and is set on a moulded plinth. It features waisted pilasters at the corners and elliptical inscribed side panels adorned with fan motifs in the spandrels.
