Description

Queenswood is a former rectory built in 1760, designed by architect Charles Cope Trubshaw. The building is constructed of red brick with a stone plinth and features two storeys plus an attic, arranged in two parallel ranges. It has a flat string-course and the front elevation includes five sash windows, while other windows are casements. The entrance is marked by a doorway set within a moulded stuccoed dog-eared architrave, topped with a pediment and a part-glazed door. The roof has a wood modillion eaves cornice and is covered with tiles.
