Description
Bridge Number 41 over the Shropshire Union Canal, built around 1829 to 1832, is a road bridge designed by Thomas Telford. It is constructed of brick and features a stone band and copings. The bridge has a single elliptical arch, solid parapets, and piers. There are five iron wall-tie plates, two of which are shaped like large oval shields. An oval iron number plate is located on the south side of the bridge, along with two iron rope fenders.
