This house, located at 146 Doxey Road in Stafford, is likely from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with 19th-century wings added. It features a timber frame with painted brick wings and a tiled roof with brick chimney stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is a single storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range and a single-window wing to the right. The exterior showcases storey-height panels with middle rails and tension braces, which are similar to the wing on the right. The entrance is positioned to the left of the center, accessed through a small porch with a hipped roof. The house has small square two-light windows with leaded glazing, with those on the first floor set in gabled dormers. There is a T-plan stack at the rear of the roof ridge and a stack at the right end. The rear of the house includes a gabled wing. Inside, the property features sawn beams and joists. It is included in the register for its group value.
