Description

Number 18 and the Bell Inn are 18th-century buildings, later altered. They are constructed of brick, with some areas plastered and painted. The building has two storeys and includes a projecting gabled bay on the left-hand side. There are eight sash windows in total; the four windows belonging to the Bell Inn have single glazing bars. The Bell Inn features two early 19th-century canted bay windows, a pilaster doorcase with entablature, while Number 18 has a 19th-century shop front with modern glazing. The building has dog-tooth eaves and is covered with tiles. This building demonstrates group value from the period.
