Description

The Smithy is a late 19th-century brick building located in Baswich. It features a plain tile roof with a single ridge and a gable brick stack. The eaves are decorated with dentillated red and blue bricks. This single-storey structure has a slightly projecting gabled entrance, which includes double plank doors with ashlar hinge blocks and a segmental head. Above the entrance, there is a small window in the gable with an ashlar surround. To the left of the entrance, there is a single shuttered opening with a segmental head.
