Description

The Herbert Memorial is a double headstone located 2 metres west of the churchyard cross at the Church of All Saints. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of stone. The memorial features a swan-necked head and includes a bas relief carving that depicts a central pilaster with two arches above twinned inscriptions. Festoons of foliage adorn the top, commemorating John Herbert, who died in 1728.
