Description

The bridge, built around the 1760s by James Paine, is constructed from stone ashlar and features a single ribbed arch. It rises from a rusticated plinth and is flanked by abutments with niches and open pediment finials. The carriageway has a cambered shape over the span and is edged with a modillioned cornice below a balustraded parapet, which continues and slopes down to terminal blocks on the approaches.
