Description

The churchyard cross, located approximately 10 yards southwest of the south aisle of the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, is a notable structure. It likely dates from the 14th century, with its steps and base, while the shaft and cross were added in the late 19th or early 20th century. The cross is made of sandstone and features four octagonal steps that lead up to an octagonal base. Atop this base is a rectangular cross shaft, which is adorned with a carved sword.
